Abstract

One of the problems that existed at the SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji regarding school designated as a national standard is not yet the realization of the learning process that emphasizes the active role of students. To follow up the implementation of the above, it is very important teachers who have high spirit and innovate job performance and development efforts continually. This needs special attention to the quality of education has not declined. Therefore in this study aims to explore the relationship between spirit teacher SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji with job performance in developing national standards. Once known spirit and job performance of teachers at the SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji, this research can be used as a guide / reference to develop the institution / school management. Based on the above, the proposed hypothesis: There is a relationship between spirit teacher and job performance in developing national standards. The sample in this study were SMP Negeri 1 Rambipuji. Implementation of this research is to disseminate the questionnaire, which every teacher must answer the questionnaire according to the real situation. From the analysis results obtained by the Product Moment correlation coefficient (r) = 0, 499 with a sig. = 0, 008 (sig. <0.01). So there is a significant relationship between spirit teacher and job performance in developing national standards. Thus, the higher the spirit teachers will increasingly encourage every individual to raise awareness for the achievement of job performance goals
